Congratulations to these three rangatahi, students of Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ruamata, who have worked hard this year to compete at the U18 National Hockey tournament. Bevan (left) moved to Christchurch to play for Canterbury. Te Hiraka (middle) plays for Midlands and travels the central north island to train and play, and Tuhia (right) travels every week to train and play for North Harbour. All three teams have made the top four and will play for a finals spot today. I have no doubt your whānau are very proud of you, as we all are. Eke panuku! Eke Tangaroa! No te whānau Pou.
