Heads up out there!! We had an unfortunate experience with a car thief in the Market of Choice parking lot last night. Fortunately it was just a little bag of trinkets freshly purchased from Pier 1 Imports - which I left it in the front seat of my car. I parked, got my son out of the car, and went in to buy some Indigo Moon cat food from the locally owned pet store - which is oddly set up next to a big box Petco in the same parking lot, but still going strong. Anyway, we came back out to the car and I noticed the door was open - - and someone TOOK our little bag of goodies!! So creepy!!! Ahhhh, so sad too - jeez. The measures people will go to for... what? 4 butter knives, 3 jeweled mini boxes (supposed to be a gift), 10 incense sticks, and a long ornament necklace my son wanted to give to me as a Christmas present. SO SAD!!! And weird!!! But it didnt wreck my day. We did have fun at the pizza restaurant next door, and there is lots of time to replenish the Christmas gifts, with plenty of festive shopping experiences ahead. But isnt that weird?? Just a small little bag too! Mostly losing the necklace bothers me since I think it was the last one, and my son specifically picked it out, but the rest of the stuff can easily be replaced. Although it would be nice to have the incense going as I upload todays new batiks to the Etsy store (at noon, pacific time, btw). Gosh, Ill be waaaaaaaay more careful about leaving bags of goodies in my car now - even tiny bags of goodies!! You be careful too!!
