Health lesson learned yesterday. Recently I head a nutritional analysis done of my blood for the fun and knowledge of knowing how I was fueling my body with key nutrients (or was failing to do so). When the results come in, you get a detailed report showing what vitamins and nutrients you are plentiful in and which ones you are deficient in. For those who take vitamins, this really shows how much the vitamins you are taking are being absorbed and/or if you are a person who simply needs more than most people of certain vitamins. I discovered a couple of deficiencies in areas I was taking specific daily supplements. When I went to Health Hut and talked with the manager, he did a great job of explaining (this is a paraphrase), Anytime you see daily vitamins that say they are giving you huge percentages of anything, that usually means they are just overloading the supplement hoping something absorbs. They are not targeted to give your body what it needs. Find a vitamin that has reasonable numbers and is more focused on its means for absorption. Switched some of my vitamins and am looking forward to improved results. :-)
