Hello Friends! This is Tom - you dont hear too much from me - TopicsExpress

Hello Friends! This is Tom - you dont hear too much from me anymore, as one of our other employees has taken over the facebook duties...and does a much better job than I ever did, I might add. Ill leave it to her to decide if she wants to identify herself. At any rate, usually when you hear from me now, its to ask for help or to update you on our recent tribulations with PA Dog Law. Today...not so much! Today I want to let YOU, our faithful friends, know that we are hiring. So...if you have ever thought you would love to work at a busy animal rescue, now is your chance! A word of caution, though - while the best part of the job is interacting with the animals in our care, the lions share of the actual work is quite physically demanding. It is a fast-paced heavy duty cleaning environment. Mollys Place gets scrubbed pretty much top to bottom every single day, and thats not an easy task. And...most of that cleaning has to be finished by noon, when we open the doors to the public Wed-Sun. That said...it is extremely rewarding work. From seeing the fear and hope in the animals eyes when they first arrive on a transport...to seeing the comfort and happiness as they leave Mollys Place in the arms of their new adoptive family, we deal with the whole range of emotions with our pets. You will have favorites...we all do...but you will learn to love every one of them...even the problem children. :) Down to business...we are accepting applications for both full-time and part-time work. Ideally, we would like to hire one of each. Your job interview would be a volunteer day, from 1-5pm on a day that meets everyones schedules. The pay isnt great to start...but there is room for growth. You would start at $7.25/hr. After 30 days, if you are still with us, you would be automatically bumped to $8.00/hr. Merit increases are available at later dates based on the quality of your work. Like most businesses, we reward our best workers in an effort to get them to stay long-term. If you are interested, please send an email to mollysplacepets@aol. Or...stop by during our open adoption hours to complete an application. Thank you and have a great week!
