Hello, I live near the Oregon border on the coast. There are not very many people who want to mentor others here. I own two Arabs from the same stallion. One has perfect conformation for endurance. Great bone & conformation. He can go for hours, but has a very nervous personality. He just has a hard time with new things on the trail. Very bonded to me, but if something spooks him, its every man for himself. My mare has very straight legs. Shes been laid up since last summer after the vets decided that she needed stifle surgery which was successful. She really wants to go. She is not afraid of anything. Im starting her back up & she seems to be fine. I plan on starting her back up VERY slowly. Which one would you guys choose? I ride alone & my family really leans towards the straight legged mare because she takes care if me. The gelding is very unpredictable. The mare is awesome. But Im not sure about the straight legs. Any input would be helpful. Id hate to lose this dream.
