Hello! My name is Sydney Butler and I am honored and thrilled to be your 2015 Miss Northwest Professional Rodeo Association. I call Boise, Idaho my home along with my two horses and two dogs and am proud to be a fourth generation Idahoan. I am a sophomore at Boise State University, studying Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. I look forward to earning my Bachelor’s degree and obtaining a career in the communications field. I am beyond blessed to have grown up in the Northwest where horses and the western way of life were introduced to me at a young age. I grew up going to my hometown rodeos and watched as the cowboys and cowgirls rode by, many of them NPRA members. The lights, the speed, and the power was enough to rope me in to the rodeo road. I have barrel raced and shown horses through 4-H and the Idaho State Horse Show Association and continue to pursue advancement in both. Horses have taught me patience, responsibility, and trust while the sport itself has taught me the importance of precision, making mistakes, and spending many hard yet fun hours in the saddle to earn that next check. I look forward to representing the NPRA organization and its talented members this year as I travel the Northwest, attending various events, rodeos and parades. I am absolutely positive I will meet amazing people, make some great memories and enjoy endless rodeo action, all while promoting our western heritage. Thank you for giving me this incredible opportunity and again, I look forward to meeting you down the rodeo road!
