Hello again humidity! Back to my home away from home in the DSM. Lovely ~24 hour drive , for future reference leave Reno about 12:30 to miss all rush hours and catch an amazing sunset over the Salt Plains of Utah! Highlights include meeting a Sheriff near Salt Lake City gas station that was from Iowa and a gent from STL that had attempted to make a TARDIS art car for BRC (only lasted 1 day) and a sweet Pandorica! I told my car I loved her many times whenever I got anxiety at all about doing it alone with no cell access, hard to believe how much we worry about having constant access nowadays , has been a real nice experiment breaking myself free of the information tether. Was nice to have 24 hours by myself to really assimiliate the burn and sink in how amazing it was. It truly became a city to me where I do what I would do in any place I live (hang around at home, go to work, go out late only a couple nights) and felt fully at home in this year 7, in large part to the wonderful campmates at Burners Without Borders. Special thanks to Weston Rose and Christopher Breedlove for vouching for me to get in! so much more to say but time to unwind from massive doses of various energy sources to make the drive in one shot, where has the guy gone that could stay up for 24 hours and not feel the pain? I am truly re-energized, refocused, and inspired like never before. Cannot wait to get in the studio, check emails, and make some art but for now I rest!
