Hello all! I have a last minute test screening of BACKCOUNTRY tonight at The Regent Theatre. It is a very unique opportunity to be part of the filmmaking process and this will be the first time the film is screened in front of an audience. The film is written and directed by Adam MacDonald (Rookie Blue) and stars Eric Balfour (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and Missy Peregrym (Rookie Blue). Backcountry centres on an urban couples camping trip and what happens when a bear attacks. The screening will take place at 7PM (Doors at 6PM) at The Regent (551 Mt. Pleasant Rd) The filmmakers will be in attendance. You will be asked to fill out a quick questionnaire afterwards and the feedback will be compiled and given to the filmmakers to help him see how his film screens in front of an audience.
