Hello all! Ive missed keeping in touch online! Life has thrown another load into the fan, so Ive been busy dealing with the mess. Mostly taking care of family, too much time spent next to hospital beds, but Im grateful to be able to be there to care for those I love. Ive been constantly amazed and shocked regularly at how absolutely stupid hospitals and their staff can be sometimes. Im glad Ive been able to be there for those who have needed me, or the may not have made it out alive! No kidding! NEVER going to Bergan Mercy Medical Center again, for family or for myself if I ever need to go. Spent too many weeks up there and their policy is not to actually try and figure out whats wrong with you and make you better; their policy is to get you to where they can admit you, charge the hell out of you and then get you just stable enough to get you out of there... and in the case of family, just to have to go right back in a week or less later. Methodist Hospital seems a bit better on that front but its been a necessity that I had to be there, 24/7, because they could never get the med regimen right. And were lax on active diagnostics to find the cause/solution to the problem, but way better than Bergan, for sure. ...Anyway, Im just ranting. Im glad to be able to take care of those I love, because Ive seen how badly things can go if there is no oversight to what Doctors and Nurses do. But I regret not being able to keep in touch online. Im still around though, and I hope to get the chance to catch up.
