Hello and thanks for accepting. My husband aka Superman was rushed to the hospital in June of 2012. He was urinating blood and clots. No prior symptoms. He had a football sized tumor. They removed the kidney that Thursday. We were told it was encased in kidney and no worries, no chemo, no scans ... The next June went to urologists for follow up. The Dr then ordered a scan just to check. A node was found in his lung, stomach, and liver. All of which were NOT there during the surgical time. Fast foreword 2 more scans and a year later we are still watching these areas for growth. They are still there but not growing. Although there is now a lymph node that has grown to 9 . That wasnt there 6 months ago. The oncologists is a very nice man, I have questions but feel he is not concerned or have time to answer. We do know it is renal cell carcinoma. His dad died from bone cancer and we lost his mom this past thanksgiving to pancreatic cancer.
