Hello classmates! The group Balen Concepcion, Tarlac Pagmaragul Taya (BCTPT) is a non-profit, SEC-registered, community-based organization of volunteers from my hometown Concepcion, Tarlac. Last year BCTPT had a school supply drive called “Project: Gamit Pang Iskwela” for Grade 1 pupils of the incoming school year. These pupils are children of poor farmers and farm hands from the barrios of the town. From the donations collected, 740 pupils in 12 elementary schools were given a set of school supplies consisting of a school bag, 8 notebooks, pad paper, a pair of scissors, pencils and crayons. This year our group is again doing the school supply drive to assist new incoming Grade 1 pupils. To date, donations and resources collected can only serve pupils in 7 elementary schools. It is for this reason that I would like to request for your support. With your assistance and kindness more pupils can be served. This project is so close to my heart.
