Hello everyone :) Hope you are all having a lovely holiday despite the endless amount of work and revision we all have :/ Firstly a huge thank you to everyone for joining the society, we have been overwhelmed with the number of people supporting us so far! In only one term we have managed to raise £390 for Little Valley Animal Shelter, Exeter (RSPCA). None of this would have been possible without the support of all of you! Some things to look forward to in the new year: Fundraising: -we shall hopefully be hosting a hot chocolate/cake sale in mid-January so we shall be looking for volunteers and people to bake closer to the date. ---Secondly, we are putting together a team for Rock Solid to raise money for Little Valley Shelter, if anyone is still interested in this please message Charlotte Pignatelli :) -Another exciting thing to look forward to is we are hoping to plan a music fundraising night towards the end of term, this is still in early stages of planning but if anyone would like to get more involved in helping to plan and organize this event please contact me! Campaigns: -In February we shall be joining the Green Unit for Go Green Week, particularly focusing on how climate change and environmental degradation are impacting animals. -Many of you I know are also excited that we shall be doing Rabbit Awareness Week, educating people about the most neglected domesticated pet in the UK. These are just a handle of things to look forward to next term! We cant wait to see you all in 2015! #rigbysays:missing all my animal welfare friends, youre all amazing!
