Hello everyone. I do apologize for not updating more frequently. Life has been busy but very sweet. John is doing well. He went in on Friday for a genetics visit, an echo cardiogram, and an endocrinology visit. The genetics visit went well. He just needs to have a hearing test to check for his hearing. Apparently, some children with his chromosome deletion have hearing problems. The echo went well. We wont get the full results until this week, however, the endo doctor read some of the results and commented that it looks like his heart murmur is nothing serious. I hope she is right : ) The endocrinology visit also went well. We discussed his growth delays and she says right now John is too young to even decide on growth hormones, if needed. Honestly, Id like to stay far away from anything that is not natural, but Ill listen to what they have to say. For now she will just be monitoring his growth every 3-4 months. Tomorrow John goes in for another EUA at 10am. Prayers are definitely needed and appreciated. Otherwise, John is growing well, learning a lot, developing at his own pace, he is a complete joy and brings our family lots of love and laughter. Thank you again, everyone, for keeping us in your prayers. I will update you all tomorrow on how he is doing.
