Hello friends… I hope that all of you are surrounded by lots of love this holiday season. I apologize for not posting anything in so long. Although I have a lot to say… I will have to keep this brief as I am quite emotional and finding it difficult to write this post. Life has put a lot on my plate in the past month. There are two events in particular that have consumed me and left me heartbroken. One is that my Grandfather passed away, God bless him. The other is that I have decided—with a very heavy heart—that its best for Iggy if we rehome her with a family that can better accommodate her needs. Although we have made great progress… Iggy needs a home where someone is home more often and a home where she has access to a backyard. Words cannot express the heartache and the tears that I have had in the past weeks at the thought of having to say goodbye to her. I was hoping to be able to rehome her here in Montreal so that I could continue to aide in her progress and have the chance to still have contact with her. However, Hope For Paws has decided that she would be better off back in L.A. and I need to respect their wishes. They will be coming to pick her up on December 30th. I know that some of you will understand and support my decision and some of you wont. I know that all of you will probably have questions. I know in my heart that I am doing what is best for Iggy but in the moment, somehow, it just doesnt help my heartache. Please understand that this is an extremely sad and difficult time for me and I will need some time to heal. When I am ready, I will come back to give you more details and answer your questions. I thank all of you, with all of my heart, for the love and the support you have shown for Iggy. She is truly such a special little girl and words cannot express how much I will miss her
