Hello from Florida-- I went to chemo this morning but they sent me home, my white blood count was too low to proceed. So I go back next week. My rash is most likely caused by stress so there is nothing to worry about. I guess I was more concerned about how the chemo was going to affect me than I thought. I had a great day hanging out with my friend Heather for almost the whole afternoon. It was great, she used to live upstairs and we would find time to have coffee together nearly everyday and now she lives a few blocks away. Close but not upstairs. We watched some cooking competitions and ate watermelon and cheese dip tostadas that Jay made and then we had dinner. Pork chops and rice and mixed veggies. I am sooo full, I usually eat really small meals several times a day. Bottom line is that although I did take some pain meds and antihistamines today I feel great.
