Hello, group! Please forgive the intrusion, but I wanted to reach out to everyone in this group to see if anyone would be interested in this opportunity (or knows someone who might be). I am a Casting Director and I’m looking for a family that has survival/bushcraft skills who would be interested in being on a TV series. Generally speaking, families with these specific skills are hard to find/reach through traditional casting methods, so Im hoping you will allow me in your group, at least for a little while, in order to tell you about this TV opportunity. I understand this type of thing isn’t for everyone, but for those who would be interested, I am trying to give them every opportunity to apply. Thank you in advance! -Tara CASTING NOW: Looking for a family with survival/bushcraft skills to participate in a new, cutting edge survival series on a MAJOR CABLE NETWORK. Leaving material possessions behind, your family will travel to a remote, yet beautiful, tropical island, and without any assistance from the outside world, you will be challenged to not just survive, but to thrive. It will require will, skill and determination as you’re immediately faced with three critical tasks on which your survival depends: finding fresh water, constructing shelter, and creating fire - using the islands plentiful natural resources. TO CLARIFY: We want to cast a family that we believe CAN SUCCEED at this intense challenge. It is NOT a “fish out of water” TV series. This is not a “gimmick” and it is not a game show. It is a docu-series that will follow ONE family as they challenge themselves to leave everything behind and return to a primitive existence.
