Hello my fb buddies!!!..I just wanted to share with you how things are with me. Many of you know that ive been having health issues like weak legs and things. Ive been going through testing(MRI,CT and liver biopsy). There is a small tumor in my lung and I also have spots on my liver. The doctors have diagnosed me with stage 4 small cell cancer. They cant cure it ,,,,and surgery is not an option....although it is an aggressive cancer,,chemotherapy is highly effective at shrinking it and wiping it out. it will always be a threat as it can come back. Theres a 90% chance of this working well,,,plus the fact that im still relatively young and my kindeys and bowels are doin ok. Ill be starting chemo on Monday and again tues and wed,,,during that time ill get an MRI on my brain to be sure it hasnt spread. There are many options for me and although this is a scary time for me and my family,,,im glad to finally know whats wrong and im ready to tackle it head on.... I know this is potentially deadly and im starting to value things around me a lot more,,I know God has a plan for me and he controls my fate.and im so greatful to have the support of my loving wife kelly and a beautiful family. I also love all my friends for their support and prayers...I consider myself very lucky and hope to return to a normal life and get back to Behrens which I miss VERY much...my working family means the world to me. Please `continue to pray for me ,,especially during the next week while we see how the cancer reacts to the chemo. thanks so much.... peace,,,:)
