Hello my lovely fans! I am now back in Canada as of almost a week now. There are so many things I want to say, but most importantly I want to say thank you to everyone. Thank you for voting for me, and thank you for making my dreams come true. Thanks for taking care of me, and thank you for loving me. Before I went to the Philippines for the second time in my life in July of this summer, I already knew I had to do whatever I could to get there because I wanted to know more about who I am and the people who were related to me. I knew that if I did not do this, I might have never truly known what it means to be Filipina. Surprisingly meeting my relatives meant that my mothers sibblings also were reunited with their cousins and distant relatives whom they have never seen since they were children. It is an incredible feeling to see so many people who are related to me by my great, great grandparents, and yet we all still noticeably look alike! Most importantly your support for me in this past pageant created the opportunity for me to meet my relatives, so really thank you so very much. Family is so important, and knowing where I came from and my family medical history is priceless. As a gift from my loving relatives, I was able to bring back beautiful beads and real pearls from the Philippines. When I am up adjusting to the time change, I design for my newly inspired collection of shoes. Here are teaser photos... Also as a side note I turn 23 on the 17th. I dont want anything or any celebration because my 3 months in the Philippines was more than I could ever ask for. I just want to spend this weekend with my two brothers, one of which had his birthday the 17th of August when I was away, and the other who celebrates his birthday a day before mine on the 16th.
