Hello there, friends! I know for a fact that quite a few of you not only frequent local farmers markets, etc., but also wholeheartedly believe that local artisans and shops should get a leg up in todays corporate-infested world. Well, heres your chance to not only support such a business, but youd also be supporting some close friends of mine! Their family of 7 (yes, thats two parents - Jason Palenske and Melissa Palenske, and 5 beautiful children!) make AMAZING jams and jellies in the kitchen in their own home using produce from local farmers, and hock them at local farmers markets. They sell out more often than not, and have even been shipping their goods across the country for special orders/requests. In the more than a year they have been doing so, they have garnered interest from local stores, etc., who would love to carry their line of jams and jellies. In order to do so, however, they are seeking the start-up funds to obtain a space they have located, and get it all renovated to be up to commercial kitchen code. They have started a Kickstarter campaign in order to come up with said funds. If you decide this is something you would like to support, it would be greatly appreciated. Even a single dollar would be appreciated. They are all hard working folks, right down to the very youngest one. They have excellent work ethics, and you can rest assured that any funds donated will be used appropriately and for an extremely good cause.
