Help me out here, please. Its the mid 1950s. I ride my bike down KFQD Road, past Turnagain by the Sea subdivision and turn in at the next subdivision (Susitna View?), then turn left onto Clay Products Road, to the yard with the frightening Weimaraners. I make it past safely and continue down the dirt road. Eventually, I turn right turn onto a corduroy trail across a bog and then into deep spruce forest. After a time, I arrive at a clearing in the spruce where there is a long, low log structure. Inside the deteriorating cabin, there are partitions that divide it into several rooms. The roof has collapsed in several rooms, but the first room is intact. Inside the first room is a barber chair. The use of the other rooms cannot be identified. Outside are what look like raised pens for perhaps fur-bearing animals. They are overgrown and difficult to find. What the heck am I looking at? Im guessing its in the Pt. Woronzof area. Ive heard everything from WWII defense sites to a mink farm. Does anyone know?
