Here are our comments from the Board Meeting last night. Watch Denis Ryan through all of public comment. He never listens to the public. He reads papers in front of him. Even Diane Jennings, who is one of the worst-behaved people we have ever seen, manages to listen for five minutes during public comment. Not Denis Ryan. Its also interesting to see the reactions when the Board is confronted by how much money they waste paying for food, snacks, pop, and other things that Mary Weimar expenses to the Library instead of either paying out of pocket or having the Library staff buy for themselves. I have never heard of someone being allowed to expense their pop, coffee, and snack cakes but Mary Weimar does this all the time! Yet, the Board wants to raise the tax levy by 12% because it cries that it has no money.
