Here in the Humble area, the Sherriff is rounding up people to take classes to learn the laws of our community, he is also allowing the class taker to ride in a unit to check out the crimes up close and personal. I am looking forward to getting in on the next class. He too is hiring a team of therapist to work in the field with his deputies to do an immediate evaluation on a wrongdoer. He wants to make sure they are put into a mental hospital, detoxification center or substance abuse treatment center if needed. This is instead of throwing charges and handcuffs at the person that is troubled! Hats off to this man! I hope this idea makes it to my home town one of these days!
