Here is a great picture I took of Kendras tribute on the big screen at the Fort stage, as promised. A lot of people asked me about it, so heres the official story: The Folk Fest reached out to me on social media back in February expressing their condolences when I tweeted about getting the tickets. Many St. Georges students volunteer at the festival every summer, so their community was aware and deeply saddened. They asked if I could send them pictures of Kendra at the festival and if it was ok if they showed one. I thought they meant on their Facebook page or something along those lines. After emailing them and never seeing a picture pop up, I assumed they made other plans and I moved on. Well, you can only imagine my shock when I walked into Fort Adams on Friday morning and Eric points to the stage and shouts LOOK! Kendra! I did not send them this picture. I did not send them this quote. My family & I have no idea who is responsible for this humongous act of kindness because they never signed their name on the emails. Kendras picture popped up on both big screens throughout the entire weekend. She was part of the official slideshow, smiling over the 10,000 dancing folk fans, and I am forever grateful.
