Here is a little something for you rare muscle bike fans. The evolution of the impossibly rare Iverson Kustom Dragger bicycle. On the left is the George Barris design prototype. In the center is the illustration for the first incarnation in 1968 - with the tapered Barris mag wheels. These first bikes did exist and were displayed at trade shows, and were actually sold in 1969. On the right is the last of the #993 Kustom Draggers, sold in 1970. Now with a different sissy bar and pad treatment and low rise handlebars instead of the drag bars. The standard color was always Lime Klo which was basically a florescent lime green color. The photo ad shows that there could be some component variance beyond what was illustrated in catalogs. The original drag bars may have proven to be a little awkward in the steering department.
