Here is another piece of music that I have created for my film music. I visited Venice a few years ago on an overnight stop-over. Arriving in Venice by train over a misty lagoon was an awe inspiring sight, and particularly as the city came into view as a smoky silhouette through the hazy sky. This eeriness reflected from the lagoon, seemingly as a shimmering ghost, which made the entire view very spectral. Even weirder perhaps, was the narrow causeway upon which the train travelled. It gave the added illusion of floating on water. The city was bustling from river traffic and tourism, with many visitors from across the world. But despite visiting as many beautiful palaces and churches as was possible, I was never able to see the entire city. So this music reflects that visit, and hopefully a return one day, with a longer stay next time. If you love the paranormal and history as much as me, Venezia is a grand old dame that you instantly fall in love with - and for life :)
