Here is my story, its a long one. Many of you wont know about this, either because I dont like to talk about and others wont know because I have cut myself off from you, and for that I am sorry I have lost some very special friends because of this secret I have. Some of you know this story already so Drama Mask Jennifer Marks Salli-anne Millward-bryant Kelly White Sarah Awesome Jayne there is no need to read this. In fact there is no need for anybody to read this, I am NOT looking for sympathy I just think its time to get it out there and stop keeping it a secret. This is something I dont like to talk about so this is a one off occasion. Lets start with a game of spot of the difference. Look at the 2 pictures, they kind of tell the story for me. The first is now about 4 years ago, this was in the early stages of my treatment. At that time I was consumed by anorexia, if I am honest I should have been in hospital my weight was so low that I was put on the at risk list. But since then with the support of my family, the ED team in Gloucestershire, my doctor and the fab Salli I have been working to get my life back. It is difficult at times but as the second picture shows I am getting there my life has changed sooooo much I am now Fleur not the girl with the ED and the demon on my shoulder (even though it still tries to come back at times). Tomorrow is a special day for me I will have been out of treatment for 1 year, I still have support from people I love, but now the future is something that I think about its challenging but exciting and it is NOT going to be ruled by food, exercise and the way I look. I and all the people I have met along the way deserve all the good exciting things that are coming.
