Here is the Bathurst 1000 2014 Race Summary: 1. Shane Van Gisbergen & Jonathon Webb Start at Poll. 2. Luke Youlden brings out the safety car (Ran off at the chase) 3.Cam Waters runs into tyre wall at turn 2. 4.Paul Morris slams into the tyre wall at turn 2. 5.Track starts breaking up at and starts forming pot holes. 6. Race is red flagged at lap 61 and suspended for 25+ Minutes 7.Whincup makes contact with Todd Kelly- Pit penalty (Dangerous Entry) 8.David Reynolds Alternator fails and rules out the Bottle-O car. 9.Russel Ingall smashes in Lee Holdsworth at turn 2 causing Lees car to end up on its roof. 10.Shane Van Gisbergens pulls into pit and stalls the car. Starter motor prevented car from starting back up (He finishes 16th). 11. Mark Winterbottom turns wide at turn 1 resulting in a hit from Lowndes from behind. Lowndes receives pit lane penalty. 12. Jamie Whincup is running on empty on his last lap. Chad Mostert then overtakes him at forest elbow and takes out the win.
