Here is the corrected recipe for the dog treats! 3 1/2 cups of flour- not 2 1/2!!! 2 ripe bananas, mashed 6 tablespoons of peanut butter 2 large eggs 3 ½ cups of flour ½ cup of rolled oats 1) Preheat oven to 300 degrees F 2) In a bowl mix the mashed bananas, peanut butter and eggs until well blended and smooth. Combine the flour and rolled oats in a separate larger bowl. Fold in the wet ingredients into the flour and oats until completely combined and a soft sticky dough forms. 3) Separate the dough in half for rolling and roll out on heavily floured surface to ¼ inch thickness. The dough will be really sticky, flour everything. Cut out the cookies using a small to medium cookie cutter- I found a dog bone that works nicely. Press hard to separate the oats. If you don’t want to roll the dough out, you can scoop a teaspoon of dough onto your baking sheet and flatten with the back of a spoon. They won’t expand, so you can pack them close together on the baking sheet. 4) Bake for 30-40 minutes. These will be thin and dry and will keep for 2 weeks in an airtight container or ziplock bag. ( they don’t last that long around here) If you are doing grain free, you can sub garbanzo bean flour for regular flour and take out the rolled oats altogether.
