Here it is another Friday. I remember about Fridays past, when everyone either went to a fishfry or stop by Dot & Ettas to pick-up a fish dinner. When the Prince Hall Masons and the Daughters of Isis were still going strong. When cabarets were the thing! I remember, I was in Milwaukee during the last days of that time, working as a jock at WNOV. I remember the barbeque at Speed Queens. some of the best in barbeque! I remember this jock, whos name was Larry OJay on WAWA. He owned the airwaves when he was on. He didnt play anything, unless it was a hit...even before it was a hit. One of the hits he broke, was by some fellas out of Detroit. He played this before Detroit radio did. Larry OJay was great! Better than me. I wonder whatever happened to him?
