Here we are, sitting on a river boat at Bordeaux waiting for our flight home via Amsterdam. We have had a super time and met some wonderful people we will never forget. The lovely Noisy Boisy family and Don Corleoni himself among many others. There was not a lot of cruising this year as the Gironde is an estuary and we could not sail far up river. Then a rope somehow got caught round the propeller and that kept us in dock somewhat longer than expected. However, along with our very dear friends, Sue and Frank, plus copious amounts of wine, we have had a very happy and memorable holiday.
