Heres a monologue I wrote that I thought Id share with you folks to celebrate 200 likes. I hope you like cynicism and misanthropy! Humanity is a but a paradox Have you ever sat and pondered the nature of man? Have you like me noticed just how backwards we seem to be? For example we seem to feel most alive when we think were going to die, but yet we feel so dead just living our everyday, comfortable lives. Or perhaps how factious and divided we are despite calls for unity and brotherhood. It seems the only way we can unite is with an even bigger dividing line and whenever we vanquish a group, another rises into its place to do us in. How ironically we fight wars for peace and we legislate freedom. We who have the most are the least content and they who have the least are the most content. We are nothing but fickle malcontented monkeys restless in our terrestrial cage inventing reasons to rattle it in hopes of becoming more, perhaps by throwing our artificial waste into the neighboring empty cage revolving around ours so we can feel accomplished. Meanwhile we screech, we fight, we trample each other, while condemning these same actions. If we will ever evolve beyond this sad state of affairs we have yet to know. But I do not recommend ceasing your oxygen addiction cold turkey in anticipation of our next great step into being an advanced species.
