Heres an email I sent out a while ago - I wanted to share it with my newer clients and non-clients.... “Be the most positive person you know ” First and foremost, I personally want to thank all of you guys for being such dedicated clients. Secondly, I want you all to know that the amount of effort I see out of most of you guys is amazing! I am seeing more and more progress everyday out of every one of you. Having said that, this email is also being written to encourage and motivate all of you to try and push that extra mile. Progress will eventually come to a slow crawl if you let it. It’s very important that we keep challenging ourselves with more intensity, more effort, more training days, more heart and less excuses. My favorite quote of all time fits this situation perfectly: “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, your right” - Those words are as real as it gets! If you set a goal and don’t attain it in the time you allotted yourself, that’s not a reason to give up on it, that’s a reason to go harder, faster, longer! It’s easy to make an excuse but it’s a lot tougher to stick it out and go get the goal. But I promise you its worth it in the end. If you honestly put 100% effort into your goal you will reach. Most of you guys train with me 1,2 or 3 X a week, which is amazing but what are you doing the other 165 hours a week? Are you going out to eat all the time? Are you sitting around all night? Are you drinking the right amount of water every day? Are you eating REAL food that can grow mold and die? Are you taking a 30 minute walk after dinner? Are you thinking of any reason to miss the gym? Or are you keeping a food log? Walking every night, pushing your limits every time you’re at the gym? There is NOTHING without consistency!!! Day in day out you must stay strong and make things happen instead of making excuses…..”I couldn’t because I had to” isn’t a valid reason most times (of course there are exceptions) Get Up Early – Train Harder – Complain Less – Be the Most positive person you know!
