Heres an odd music making story for you. Years ago I met a producer online named Krem aka Drone Jones who wanted to pay me to make a track on one of his beats. He paid me to do one song. It turned out really good. A few months later he wanted to make another, and another. So I quoted him a price to complete 7 songs total, and we created an ep called Terminal Illness feat. Baracuda, Sole, Robust, and Bleubird. Its a great 7 song ep and still available (although Im considering removing it). I ended up posting the song with Cuda and Robust on youtube and people were commenting that the beat was stolen. I was super confused but it turned out Krem had stolen this beat from a guy named Son of a Bricklayer. I talked to Krem about it and he said it was a mix up and he swore he produced all the other 6 beats on the ep. I was like how do you mix up what beat you created?! ....I reluctantly believed him. Now it turns out another song from the ep called Storm Clouds is actually a beat produced by a guy named Day One. This is kinda shocking to me that a producer would steal beats and pull them off as his own. The weirdest part to me is that he did not try to SELL the beats to me to make money which would have kinda made sense, but he stole beats and then paid me to rap on them. Very bizarre and obviously puts me into an awkward predicament. I would like to officially apologize to Son of a Bricklayer and Day One and any other producer who may have inadvertantly contributed to the Terminal Illness EP. You should probably download it now in case I decide to take it down noah23.bandcamp/album/terminal-illness-2
