Heres one of our latest reviews from TripAdvisor “aataren villas stay . norfolk island” 5 of 5 starsReviewed 11 March 2014 we have just returned from a week at Aataren Villas, and could not fault the place. beautiful newly renovated and clean and modern with absolutely everything one could need in it. we were met at the airport with our car and escorted to the villas for a show and tell. given a map and had places pointed out and shops explained to us, where to find what , hours open, etc.and even given a mobile phone and instructions to call if we got lost or had any problems at all, and we would be rescued immediately. we particularly appreciated the picnic hamper, freezer/cold drinks bag, and beach towels and umbrella ! we couldnt get over how well stocked the villa was , right down to bath robes in the wardrobe. the villa was huge, and modern, and light and airy and spotlessly clean . lots of nice big windows and a huge verandah. the bed was very comfortable . the car we had was a great little run about and never gave us any problems, and we kept it right up to check in at the airport. the villas are within an easy walk of town, and central to everything, we found. and only a quick couple of minutes down the hill to Emily Bay to swim. we were so pleased with the place and couldnt fault a thing. we would go back and stay there any time, as we just loved the place. the owners were away but the couple filling in for them were great and very helpful and friendly. we were very happy with aataren villas and in fact the entire package organised for us by Oxley Travel, who suggested aataren to us. Room Tip: Villa #2 was ours and we loved it.
