These along with Federal taxes & expenses like healthcare have all increased. This tax increase for the benefit of Pulaski Technical College only. The PulaskiCountySpecialSchoolDistrict where PTC is located, was in fiscal distress for poor usage of funds less than 2 years ago. It needs reform before money is spent The election notice states that this can be for acquire, construct, reconstruct, repair, expand, operate, or maintain facilities of PTC. which is a nice way of saying a slush fund. The primary election is scheduled a little over 2 months away but this election is held on March 11th. The true reason for this election date is to minimize voter turnout at great expense.
