Heres what I dont get...Ive been in school a long time. Not once have I learned any life skills. Sure, I learned math. Some of which I will use and a lot that Im sure I wont. Yes, I learned things that are useful to my future career. Thats not what Im talking about. Im talking about why did I learn the difference between Beethoven and Mozart, how to paint with oils and acrylics, read most of Shakespeares great works, and not once did I learn about financing a house or car, bank loans, credit, mortgages, etc. Why am I about to graduate college and STILL not know these things that everyone uses in life? I just dont get it. We could have done this in high school and college. Surely, with these things being a daily occurrence in peoples lives they could have found someone to teach us?
