Herewith a simple explanation on Navratri!!! MAHA KALI,,,,1st -3rd day of Navratri is dedicated to Mother Kali!!!! ,,,,A Bedi is prepared. The Bedi can vary from a square box to a coffee table. It is ideally set in the Puja room. However , in the absence of a dedicated Puja room , the Bedi may be set in the living room. These initial 3 days are observed in Devotion to Mother Kali . She plays the most important part in removing obstacles. The Goddess is invoked as a Spiritual force called Chamunda Devi in order to destroy all our impurities, vices and defects. The energy forces are directed towards annihilating the negative tendencies of our minds and hearts. She is the one who destroys the most powerful and dangerous demons within. By chanting the Mantra of Maha Kali for the first three nights, we purify our spiritual inner self and rid ourselves from the obstacles that prevents our material growth. Mantra to be chanted: EIM KALIKAYEI NAMAHA.....
