First you will be taken on a journey into the ocean, where you will see how the beautiful marine life and reef environments are being detrimentally affected by all forms of garbage. Next, your journey continues on-land to the landfills, where garbage is at times purposely or accidentally set on fire. Dr. Graham Cates will talk about the effects of the smoke on peoples respiratory health. He also addresses the fact that landfills pollute the water table, resulting in various ill-health consequences.
