Hey Boise UU folks, Even though were in the darkest time of the year the Ministerial Search Team is seeing light ahead. The Team is close to starting the interview stage. The interview process will be confidential until a leading candidate is selected to visit Boise UU and to preach. Our tentative schedule (subject to candidate availability): Jan 2, 2015 Prelim review of interested candidates Jan 5 Select/screen for initial candidates; request ministerial packets Jan 8 Select candidates for video/Skype interviews Jan 10-15 Online interviews Jan 18 Select top (three?) candidate for personal follow-up Jan 22-Mar 8 Arrange visits, follow-up interviews Apr 2 Select leading candidate, negotiate contract issues, Board reviews contract. Apr 26-May 2 Candidate week. Congregation gets to meet and hear candidate preach two Sundays. May 2 Congregational meeting to vote on calling minister. Were excited; hope you are, too!
