Hey El Paso...great job last week. Thank you for all the votes at Nature Hills Nursery Facebook page to help our local community of kids at The El Paso Academy on the westside. They have made it to the semi finals with there sustainability project. You can vote again this week to send them to the finals. Login to there facebook link at the bottom. The project: A 1.5 acre section of unused school grounds is being revitalized through a large sustainability initiative that provides hands-on learning while providing food for the needy. Plants from Nature Hills would be used in the construction of a 13,000 square foot community garden designed in the shape of a labyrinth. This garden will utilize passive rainwater harvesting techniques to provide meditative space as well as fresh produce that will available to the community at large.
