Hey Everybody! Hope your three day weekend was just what you needed! Mine was very relaxing and now I am charged up and ready for what Fall has to bring. Pumpkin spice, apple everything, and cool days are just around the corner. This Week: Revive: Revive is tonight!! We will be meeting at 6pm for some games, and general fun. We will move into a time of worship and finishing out our Legacy series. We will talk about Psalms 17:34 and delighting in the Lord with everything we do. Revive is over at 7:30pm. Next week Michael Engleman will be talking about Reconciliation. Free Sidewalk Prophets Concert: Sidewalk Prophets are coming to Jeffersonville this Sunday to give a free concert on the waterfront. Yup. You read that right, free! We will be meeting at the church at 6:45pm to drive down. The concert starts at 8pm and we should be back at 10:30pm. You will need to sign up to go, so we can make sure that we have enough seats in vans/cars. To sign up, please email me or Facebook me by Sunday Morning so that we know who is going! Upcoming Events: 9/13 In The Loop: This will be our September In The Loop meeting right after the 11am Service. We will meet up in the Youth Room and will be going over the upcoming events, I will have the full year’s Event Calendar to hand for any parents who don’t have it. After talking about the upcoming events, I will have a couple of Veteran Parents to talk about their experiences parenting, and to help and give advice. I hope you are able to attend. 9/14 We Love Our Kids/Taking it To The Streets: We are doing our September Taking it To The Streets on the 14th. We will be hanging out at Slate Run Elementary School helping with the “We Love Our Kids” Outreach event. We will be serving by helping park cars and helping at some of the booths. We will meet at the church at 12:30pm. [Please eat lunch before you get there.] We will be back at the Church at 4:30pm Get it on your calendar now! 9/28 Chili and Campfire: We are having a Chili and Campfire night at the Jackson’s House (7259 Jersey Park Rd Floyds Knobs) on Saturday September 28th. We meet at 6:30pm at their house for a night of fun and games, a bonfire and chili. It is going to be a great time, so you will want to bring a friend! If your last name starts with A-M, please bring a 2 liter. If you last name starts with N-Z please bring a snack to share! Peace be the Journey Steve
