Hey Foxy Ladys Adventure Walk: Hello and thank you Ann Mary Bettenson! Thanks to you I was able to take Hey Foxy Lady out for a wonderful adventure today at Belle Isle. She is a beautiful and very sweet American Foxhound mix who is just over a year old. When I picked her up from RACC she was bursting with excitement to accompany me and we had SUCH a good time playing and allowing her to be the fun loving and curious pup she is. I took her directly to Belle Isle and she took in all the smells as we walked across the bridge, she greeted people sweetly and with the best manners, everyone wanted to meet the Foxy lady. We went straight to the water and her eyes lit up and she began splashing around and running in circles. She tried to catch and eat the water she was kicking up and made for a truly joyful experience for both of us. We hiked every trail we could find jumping over logs and taking in the beautiful day and even met a young turtle who she tried to bring with us in a very gentle way. This girl has a lot of lovable energy and I feel very confident she will be a great dog for her one day adopting parents. She really wants to listen and please and just beams when praised. We very much enjoyed our adventure today and I hope someone discovers this gem soon!
