Hey Guys, Ethan Quant here Mr. Bahamas 2014, just woke up - TopicsExpress

Hey Guys, Ethan Quant here Mr. Bahamas 2014, just woke up after hearing the news that I didn’t make top six at the 2014 CAC championships. That was a huge surprise, for me so humbling it paralyzed my mind, body, and spirit for a moment. So much went through my mind thinking about the failure that I am. How could I go back home as Mr. Bahamas and not even make the finals. I let everyone down, my team, efnation, my sponsors, my partner EVERYONE. As I read that list I got a feeling that was so familiar to me, that feeling of self-doubt and insecurity that I felt when I started my weight loss journey about 2 years and over 100 pounds ago. Yet even in that moment of disappointment and fear, the thought of giving up did not enter my mind. I started assessing where I was weakest and started my strategy for the next 16 weeks to the Arnold Classic in Columbus. I am guided by a few things…….the fact that I brought the best body I ever had to go against some of the best athletes in the world and I am proud of that. The fact that I was the only Bahamian in my class and I made the top 15 out of a very tough line up of men. The fact that I know my best body is here and with some tweeks I know I will be the best in the world. I am Mr. Bahamas damn it!!!! This is what we do!!!! But I want to thanks everyone for their support, and encouragement, my sponsors, thank you so much for your faith and tangible contributions, to my team you guys keep me moving forward because I know if I don’t push forward you will run me over, to my family you guys really make me happy to be me, to my partner thank you its refreshing to know that you got company in the trenches……16 weeks out guys……the journey continues!!!!!! I love you all!!!!!!! #efnation #gogetit #thejourneycontinues #ifbbproethanquant #thisiswhatwedo
