Hey Sophomores! So a lot of people have been messaging me about the Physics Readiness exam, its really nothing to be too worried about, but you definitely want to do your best. Presuming its similar to last year, it was just a 30 question examination to test basic arithmetic skills and some precalculus topics. Danial Hussain, who makes all the physics study guides and webassign guides, is going to post a review sheet for you guys soon, but I would definitely go over vectors and maybe matrices. You can miss like 8 or 9 max and still pass. And if you dont pass youll just be put in a physics teachers room for Homeroom next year and youll have to retake it for one 8th period block the second week of school to try passing it again. Otherwise the homeroom is the same, and if you get Dr. Smith for homeroom, actually the chillest homeroom ever. If you dont pass the second time the teachers will decide if its necessary to put you in a sticky for first quarter. Things may change, but thats how it worked for 2015. But dont worry too much about it, its really not as bad as some of you think!
