Hey St Louis Blender buddies, I have an old college friend coming in next week (PhD type) for a conference. Shell be staying at the Moonrise Hotel on Delmar Boulevard. Give me an idea of the best restaurants in that area (not necessarily the most expensive, but good eatin type). Shes coming in Monday evening, and plans to take most of Tuesday off so she and I can catch up (havent seen her in nearly 45 years). We both played on the Western Illinois University Field Hockey, Basketball, and Softball teams (including the Softball team that played in the 2nd Womens College World Series). Sooooo, the Cardinals are not yet in town...any other ideas of fun things to do that allow more chatting/visiting than just hitting a noisy bar??? Im looking for great suggestions from you guys.
