Hey everyone! Im just getting into the world of film, and I decided to go with a minolta SR-T 202. Im super excited to see how my first roll of film comes out... Im just hoping everything works and photos come out at all! When I first got the camera, I had to open it up and clean out the viewfinder. That in itself was a very rewarding and enlightening experience. Pretty cool to see the actual prism thingy!! Anyway, I have a few questions that hopefully someone can answer, please! I read somewhere that if the cap is on the lens and the image is completely blacked out, the light meter will not be using any battery. Is this true? Ive been switching on and off the light meter on the bottom, but its not the easiest to turn so if I can just leave it in with no worries, that would be super awesome. Hm... I actually think thats my only question... FOR NOW! :)
