Hey everyone, hope you all had an enjoyable summer! We have a couple of things coming up this week. Firstly theres the Freshers Fair on Wednesday & Thursday, this is a great chance to sign back up again. I can confirm that like last year, there will be a free night at Big Fun for the first 80 members who sign up. So come on down and say hi to the people on the stall and get your spot on the #bigfunhypetrain. Also this week, there will be a meeting on Tuesday in Wilberforce LT-11 at 1pm with teachers from St. Marys to talk about the tutoring scheme we started up last year. The tutoring is something that looks really good on CVs as it gives you the opportunity to demonstrate a wide range of skills- I already know of people whove used the tutoring as an example in interviews to successfully show why theyd be suitable for summer placements and jobs. Its a really worthwhile thing to do as we helped a lot of people last year get into the universities they wanted to attend. Itd be great to see you as many of you at the meeting as possible, if for whatever reason you cant make it (freshers induced coma) but do want to be involved, please get in contact with me and I can give you the information.
