Hey guys! So this is what well be doing for the next 2 weeks. So, let me explain. We have all the shoe boxes we need, what you guys need to do is a pick a gender, and an age group and bring items based on your choices. No liquids. No candy. No food. The whole gospel thing that doesnt apply to us. Though if you want, you are free to add the letter and make it personal. The boxes will be distributed to many churches, they get to decide what amount of the boxes circulates in the US and what amount of the boxes gets to travel around the world. Well be putting this together on December 18th, which is our next meeting date. Well also have hot chocolate and candy canes for us while we put together the boxes. Drop your items off at Mrs. Weidimers Office. If you are having issues thinking about what to bring.. -socks -school supplies -bags -toys -hair brush -color pencils/crayons -play dough -little stuffed animals -little towels - a shirt This activity means a lot to me because I was once one of those kids that would get a box, I remember feeling SO empowered after reading the note the person would write ( it was in English) and I still have things from those boxes. I would look at every single item within that box and feel special, thinking someone got this things for me, not even knowing me. Small actions like that really do impact people.
