Hey hey hey, 9 down 7 more to go, BRING IT!!!! At this point I have more behind me than in front of me, praise God!!!!! Todays lesson, the ugly side of cancer....... The other day I got upset with my husband, I said some things that was not nice as matter of fact they were down right terrible. I blamed him for my being tired all the time, for not being able to care for my girls the way I want to or feel as though I should, I blamed him for me not feeling pretty or as I said looking like a zombie, I did that and I was wrong, wrong, wrong. It was inexcusable to say the least and once the Lord checked me I had to go put on my big girl panties and apologize....... You see as a wife I am experiencing the UGLY side of cancer, black nails, missing toe nails, ports in my chest and hair loss, I am definitely not the woman he married right now and unfortunately that bothers me than it bothers him. I let the enemy in and it took him all of 30 seconds to disrupt our peace, that was my bad, it wont happen again. When I first got diagnosed he said to me if you have cancer then I have it too and if you have to fight then I have to fight too, youre not doing this alone. This whole time he has been awesome, he has stepped up and grabbed a hold of this family, he is not perfect but his attempts at running this house are. I would say when I married him he was everything I never knew I wanted and what a blessing he turned out to be. We know there is a greater blessing on the side of this we just have to get there, TOGETHER!!!! Even if I dont look or feel the same as I did before cancer I am still me and that is more than enough for right now, Im grateful to God for my husband who loves me past my faults and flaws, dont know what I would do without him!!!! #ImarriedReese #HisGraceisSufficient Proverbs 12:4 A wifely noble character is her husbands crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.
