Hey, its me, Moondoggie! I am a 9 month old Lab/Great Dane mix. When I was rescued, I had a really bad cold (kennel cough) and was really thin. Ive been eating well and have gained 12 lbs! I weigh 63 lbs and am a very happy, healthy boy! My foster mom has been amazed at how well I do with kids, cats and dogs of all sizes. I am very laid back. I am house trained and crate trained and love to sit and watch tv with you. I adore my big soft pillow, but Ive even curled up on the cats pillow to sleep. Mom says I look silly curled up so tiny, but I thought it was comfy! My foster dad likes to garden and I love to be with him when hes working. I even try to help. I was helping my foster dad the other day when he was putting wood chips down in the liriope and I was watching him and learning and then I started getting some chips and following him, placing them on the dirt and moving them around with my nose similar to what he was doing. My foster dad thinks I am so sweet and smart! But do keep in mind, I have loose joints in my hips, which makes me limp if I try to go for very long walks. The vet says that Im ok, as long as I stop when it starts to hurt. He says swimming would be great exercise and that I should watch my weight to keep my hips happy!
